The following indexes list the tokens of a commercial nature found in "Numismatics of Massachusetts" by Malcom Storer The book was published in 1923 by the Massachusetts Historical Society and subsequently republished by Quarterman Publications in 1981. This is the only published listing of New England (Massachusetts only) Tokens. The book includes 2317 listings, of which 438 are potentially of a trade nature.

I have included Golf, Country & Yachting Club listings. Many of these were member badges to organizations that possibly issued other exonumia. I have kept in the Rubber cards but not the Encased Postage issues. I have listed each issuer by the key name assigned by Storer, usually the issuer's last name. I have not used "Hotel" as a key word, i.e. "Armory, Hotel" and not Hotel Armory.

I have presented the list in two formats. The first is the Storer format where towns are presented in alphabetical order with each token or medal being listed in alphabetical order under their respective towns. Storer (ID) numbers were assigned in sequential order from this listing. The second format is a listing in issuer alphabetical order, which is to my knowledge the first cross index for this catalog. The lists are each in two segments to make the downloading gods happy.

I have not included text or descriptive material from Storer to avoid copyright restrictions. A new listing should be prepared to add material identified in the last 75+ years - and to provide verification for each of the Storer listings. There are numerous unlisted pre-prohibition trade cards to be added.
