503. Louise KNICKERBOCKER was born on 28 Dec 1834.⁽¹⁾ She died about 1894 in Three Rivers, , MI.⁽¹⁾

She was married to David Schantz SHOEMAKER after 1860. David Schantz SHOEMAKER was born on 7 Jan 1820 in Pottstown, , PA.⁽¹⁾ He died on 6 Jan 1892 in Three Rivers, , MI.⁽¹⁾ Name could be spelled Schumacker. He married Louise Kn , the sister of his 1st wife.

After the death of his father Johannes, David along with his mother, brothers and sisters, moved to Waterloo, Ontario (from Bridgeport?) abt 1829. Here he grew to manhood and met and married his first wife Margaret Wycoff Knickerbocker. He managed a general store here for 4 or 5 years. At this time about 1852 the county of Waterloo was formed and he was elected the first Register of Deeds in the County. He then moved back to Bridgeport until 1861 when he moved to Berlin. After the death of his first wife and subsequent marraige to her younger sister, he moved to Three Rivers,, MI where he remained until his death *** Note in Chamberlain Geno.*** Louise KNICKERBOCKER and David Schantz SHOEMAKER had the following children:
