1221. Florence Carolyn KNICKERBOCKER (95) (95) was born in Aug 1892. She died on 26 Apr 1962 in St. Theresa Hosp., Waukegan, Lake, IL.
06-08-98 Called Lloyd Broker caretaker of the Charlestown Union Cemetery at Gravesville, near Chilton, (1-920-849-4652) trying to find information about FlORENCE KNICKERBOCKER. He checked the records he had to find: Florence died at St Theresa Hospital, Waukegan, IL April 26, 1962, cause was carcinoma of the pancreas. On April 30, 1962 body was taken from Zion, IL to Gravesville, WI for burial. Permit was from Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheradon Road, Zion, IL. There was no headstone. She was 70 yrs old.
10-17-98 Telephone conversation with Conrad Knickerbocker-Florence died of Stomach Cancer. Florence and Albert Wert took in Conrad after his mother died in June 1937. Raymond, Florences son with Fred King, came for funeral.
10-21-98 Received from Lois (Reese) Cozzuli pictures and written information as follows: Florence belonged to Royal Neigbors of America, Daughters of the American Revolution, American Flag House and Betsy Ross Memorial Association of Denosha, WI issued 1918. Florence married February 10, 1934 to Charles Albert Wert from Waukegan to Florence Carolyn King of Waukegan Holy Matrimony at Chicago, IL Witnesses: Bessie Wert, Albert E. Hickley, Thomas Fulton Campbell. The following obit was oncluded:
Services for Mrs. Florence Wert, 70, of 115 N. James St., Waukegan, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Waukega.
Officiating will be Rev. Willard Blomquist, pastor. Burial will be in Wisconsin.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.
Mrs. Wert died yesterday morning in St. Therese Hospital, Waukegan.
She was born Aug. 23, 1891, in Wisconsin and had lived in the Waukegan area since 1930. Her husband, Albert, died in 1949. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond King and Conrad Knickerbocker, both of Waukegan: and two grandchildren.

Fred E. KING(95) (95) died about 1962 in Racine, Racine, WI.
