1194. Wilma Elizabeth KNICKERBOCKER (75) was born on 8 Sep 1901. (9) She died on 31 Mar 1967. (9) She was buried in Norvell Cem., Norvell, Jackson, MI. (9) She was a School Teacher, Church Organist. This Historical Booklet Is Dedicated To The Memory Of Wilma As It Was Her Idea To Publish This Information About The Knickerbockers. Most Of The Names And Dates Were Collected By Her.

Wilma Was The Sponsor Of Several Annual Knickerbocker Family Reunions, The First One Being July, 25, 1937 At Sweezey Lake And Everyone Known To Be A Knickerbocker Was Urged To Attend.

These Knickerbocker Family Reunions Were Continued For Several Years At The Same Lake And Were Always Well Attended As There Was Always A Good Picnic Dinner And A Good Supply Of Food.

She was married to Harry Holmes RABY on 23 Jun 1926 in Leslie, MI and Tucson, AZ..(9) Harry Holmes RABY was born on 7 Jul 1889. (9) He died on 24 Mar 1976 in Norvell And Leslie, MI. (9) He was buried in Norvell Cem., Norvell, Jackson, MI. (9) He was a Farmer. Casper, Harvey, Harry, And Verta Raby

The Farmland On Which The Raby Homestead Was Build Was First Taken Up From Mr. Tooker In 1859 By Stephen W. Holmes. He Lived With His Parents On The Adjacent Farm To The West Until 1880 When He Had A House Built For His Wife Caroline And Family. Their Only Surviving Child, Hatie, Married Harvey Raby, Son Of Casper And Caroline. Casper Owned Much Of The Land On The West Side Of Raby Road And Later Ran A Sawmill.

Harvey And Hattie Had Three Children, Harry, Nellie And Warren. Harvey Remained On The Farm After The Death Of His Wife In 1911 And Lived With His Son Harry Who Married Lucy Koch. They Had Married He Married Again To Wilma Knickerbocker And By Her Had Two Sons, Robert And Richard. After Harry's Death In 1976, Robert Became The Owner Of The Farm. Wilma Elizabeth KNICKERBOCKER and Harry Holmes RABY had the following children:
