I am looking for any information on my gggrandparents, Robert and Rachel KNICKERBOCKER.

Robert KNICKERBOCKER was born about 1800 in Vermont ( according to the 1850 census for the Town of Schroeppel and 1855 census, Town of Hastings, both in Oswego County), married on 22 Aug. 1830 in Nelson, Madison Co. by Elder Blakeslee

Rachel HOWARD, born about 1810 in Cortland Co. (according to 1855 census, Town of Hastings, Oswego Co.). They had these children:

1) Unknown : male between the ages of 5-10 in the 1840 Census, Town of Verona, Oneida Co.
2) Minor born 31 Aug. 1831, Madison Co. m. Florence M. Smith
3) Jerome born about 1833, Madison Co.
4) Jane born 1835, Madison Co. m. Allen J. Harp
5) Hiram born about 1839, Madison Co.
6) Emma born about 1841, Oneida Co.
7) Laura born about 1851, Oswego Co.
8) Edwin born about 1852, Oswego Co.

I would like to find both parents and siblings of these ancestors. I am descended from Minor and have much information on his family. I would also like to find out the marriages of the other children. I have not been able to find out what happened to Robert and Rachel after the 1855 Census, Town of Hastings, Oswego Co. One clue I have is from Minor's civil war pension papers. One Edward Neilly (Nealy) signed an affidavit for Minor, stating that he was Minor's nephew. Minor and His mother were brother and sister. Since they were only 5 years different in age I suspect the census of 1840 may be incorrect and that Minor actually had an older sister, not brother. He also stated that they grew up together in Caughdenoy, Oswego Co., NY According to the Morrisville Observer and Recorder Newspaper article of their marriage. Robert was from Nelson, Madison Co. and Rachel HOWARD was from Eaton, Madison Co. at the time of their marriage.

Any information would be appreciated as I've searched quite a few years for these two. - Kathy
